Build Online Businesses That Last!

The other day, one of my online mentors (I have a secret stash of many that I use to keep me in-check) brought up a very interesting topic.

A topic that, after discussing it with him, made me want to bring it to your attention as well.

A Fool and His (or Her) Schemes Are Soon Parted!

There’s an obvious BIG difference (not a fine line) between a pseudo MLM, money game and/or quasi-pyramid scheme, and a tried & true (legitimate) Network Marketing/Direct Sales opportunity.

Yet, there are still tons of people associated with — or staking their dreams on — the former.

Beware of so called money-making programs that have the following characteristics:

> no products or products of little value.

> poor or no provisions for retailing a product.

> pays upfront commissions of product vouchers or certificates.

> hyping-up and/or heavily promoting the money side of the business (the comp plan).

> encourages front-end loading and/or “buying your way up” into the compensation plan.

> pays you just for the act of recruiting and/or “recycling” current members.

> offers a high or quick ROI (return-on-investment) with little work & zero risk!

> no long-term stability. Ask yourself: “Can the last person in make money?” If the answer is NO, get out fast!

> gifting plans, chain letters (AKA mail order pyramids) and stamp programs fall under this category. Not only do they NOT work over the long haul, they’re illegal.

I’m not going to get into the merits and benefits of Network Marketing in this post (I’ll save it for another post in the near future), but I will briefly mention how Direct Sales relates to the internet, and how this still burgeoning way of doing business can mean LASTING revenue for you.

You have focused interests and hobbies, right?

Meaning, you’re probably skilled in a few areas of life that others aren’t (easy way to tell: When you’re with a group of friends, what do they say you talk about the most?).

Take these skills, interests, passions and START creating resources around them. Or, better yet, start writing about them (using a blog, like the very one I’m using here).

When I started working on ManifestLife.com in Feb 2005, I had an intense interest in the art & science of deliberate attraction and conscious creation (i.e., using an understanding of metaphysical laws to ACTIVELY create my world and experiences rather than letting life do it for me).

BEFORE I ever created my first product around that interest, I promoted other people’s products that met the following two criteria:

Criteria #1): Is it something I wanted, needed, or got value from anyway? I asked myself a pretty important question: would I use this product, even if I couldn’t make money promoting it?  If I didn’t have  an emotional tie and unwavering dedication to the product that I was promoting, I would have had a very hard time convincing others to buy it.  The following may seem basic, but always remember: you only get paid when you sell products.  Products don’t sell themselves, only people do.

Criteria #2): Was the “How To” or educational info product created out of a labor of love? In other words, just who the heck is the person who created it? And why?  True success always depends on the quality of the Product and the Individual who creates and maintains it. And I did all I could to determine if the person behind the content got in it for the PRODUCT first or the INCOME potential first. If it was the latter, I ditched it, and tried finding a benefit-rich course, teleseminar, book, or CD/DVD that was created because of the creator’s expertise and interest.

One of the things that is great about affiliate marketing is that you’re essentially earning referral commissions off of someone else’s website / creation (read: hard work). It gives you freedom from dealing with the hassles of finding a niche, creating a product, setting up a website, and maintaining inventory and customer service.

The key is to just ensure the two criteria I mentioned above are met.

But that doesn’t end there, you’ve gotta know how to make it work. According to studies, about 97 percent of affiliates barely make enough affiliate commissions to pay for their efforts.

This is where Anik Singal’s Affiliate Classroom comes in.

Affiliate Classroom - Anik Singal Affiliate Classroom is an affiliate training program. It is one of the most comprehensive programs available in the market now. This program teaches you, step-by-step, how to start earning, and how to continue expanding your affiliate business.

And I can vouch for Anik. He’s professional, intelligent, and interested in your success — a top-notch guy who happens to be nice, too.

I’ve spoken to him on the phone, exchanged many emails with him, and have read dozens and dozens of write-ups on him.

He has has built an extraordinary Internet company and he’s an excellent role model for all of us.

Here’s an example: A couple of years ago Anik created his own neat little system that allowed him to make $10,000 in just 60 days, working about 1-2 hours a day. (If you want to know exactly how he did it, keep reading to the end…)

After that, Anik released an affiliate marketing training and business development system that has been earning rave reviews from both top affiliate marketers and affiliate managers. I’m talking about endorsements from multi-million dollar affiliates, and *billion dollar* companies all over the world.

How did Anik manage to become such a powerful force in affiliate marketing?

Simple — it’s because he created Affiliate Classroom Inc., a company that focuses on turning *anyone* who can follow directions into a successful affiliate. And it’s a step by step system based on widely accepted “best practices” — meaning the things working affiliates do every single day to make sales.

If you’ve never been inside the Affiliate Classroom, I can tell you that on my first visit my jaw just dropped.

Here’s what I saw…

* Not just step by step training, but an entire SYSTEM. Every time you complete a step, you’re closer to successfully promoting ANY affiliate program you want. The system even remembers what you’ve accomplished and prompts you to take the next step!

* A huge marketing library of Tutorials, Best Practices Guides, plus marketing book and software.

* Expert interviews with the likes of Rosalind Gardner, Joel Comm, Mike Filsaime, Patric Chan, Willie Crawford, Brad Callen, Jim Edwards…

* Case studies that show you exactly how successful marketers are building their sites, developing content, finding hot niches, writing killer copy, making AdSense arbitrage work…

* Forum — a genuinely newbie-friendly and helpful place, with dedicated moderators and lots of great ideas.

* The Affiliate Upsell System — this is what I mentioned earlier… the system that generated more than $10,000 in revenue in just 60 days.

* And of course the well-known Affiliate Classroom Magazine.

Sometimes I’m shocked at how Affiliate Classroom manages to offer so much.

But I think it’s because Anik has created a great affiliate marketing company, staffed by a team of real affiliate marketers who aren’t in it to promote themselves (even though they could). They just plain *love* affiliate marketing, and they enjoy teaching people like you and me how to get the most out of it.
Which is why you’ll want to move on this offer right now:

You can test drive the ENTIRE Affiliate Classroom system for 14 days — the step by step methods, the forum, the case studies, the interviews, and the Upsell System — for just $1.

This isn’t a “limited access” offer or beta test. For just $1 you can read, listen to, watch, download, and even use the entire step by step system to plan and execute 14 days’ worth of affiliate promotions… all for just $1.

If I were you, I’d take advantage of this $1 trial. It may not be available forever.

And you’ve just got to see Affiliate Classroom for yourself to understand what it can do for you.

Click here to learn how a 20-year old earned over $10,000 in just 60 days.

P.S. If for no other reason, grab this trial just to visit the Affiliate Classroom forum. It’s so great to see a forum where there’s no griping or back-biting, just a lot of friendly people helping each other out!

Bruce, no “change” around these parts in the slightest. I’ve been writing about the ins and outs of legit versus non-legit Network / Affiliate Marketing & Direct Sales programs and deal since 1997.

A 6 year or so hiatus was taken in my public insight around this industry for the sole purpose of actually DOING (go figure) - i.e., building my own online publishing conglomerate - yet, I’ve always been teaching others “behinds the scenes” that “money” is a medium of exchange, nothing more and nothing less.

There’s no magic way to acquire it. The way to build wealth is to exchange a value-oriented, repeat type product or service for it.

Yes, must of our standardized humans do indeed need more than a lifetime to become an overnight success !!

P.S. Yes, I’m very familiar with John Counsel and his Profit Clinic and the watchdog services he provides.

P.P.S. A Kudos for being part of my world.

Carol A. Briney @ 9:28 am:

I cannot agree more with the fact that people MUST do their due-diligence BEFORE jumping into the next best thing. I get recruited at least once a week for some company. When I ask people what business criteria they used to choose the company most of them look at me as if I had two heads. They are like I was. They jumped into something because it has a fabulous product, or they really liked and believed the person who sold them a bunch of nonsense. (Just like I did years ago.) Most, not all, but most MLM companies have great products. As I was told by my mentors after joining a company for that reason, that is not a good enough reason to work the company. That is a reason to become a wholesale buyer if you like but that is it.
Please do yourself a big favor; REALLY do your due-diligence on companies. Check out and UNDERSTAND how they pay. Be sure they have a product that people will want, and keep reordering again and again. This is a marvelous industry if you find a company that works. A big warning sign should be if the company is selling itself on hype! Stay away!

I look forward to your success!
